Our challenge

We are looking for a Project Manager to support a cross-functional initiative focused on digital accessibility remediation. This role will serve as the primary liaison between the third-party agency conducting the audit the internal development and QA teams and senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized proactive and experienced in coordinating technical web projects within a CMS environment.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto ON / Halifax NS is CAD $100k CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the central point of contact across all parties involved in the accessibility remediation initiative.
  • Facilitate project planning prioritization issue resolution and team coordination.
  • Track remediation progress against timelines dependencies and milestones.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings and working sessions between:
  • The external audit agency.
  • Internal developer(s) making CMS updates.
  • Internal QA resources validating fixes.
  • Escalate blockers risks or scope changes to leadership as needed.
  • Ensure deliverables are aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and project goals.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly or biweekly updates to senior management on project status risks and next steps.
  • Document decisions process updates and action items.

Requirements:

  • 7 years experience in project coordination or project management preferably in digital/web projects.
  • Experience working with or managing third-party vendors.
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and digital compliance projects.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience tracking project tasks using tools like Jira Asana or MS Project.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in enterprise CMS environments (e.g. TeamSite AEM Sitecore).
  • Understanding of front-end development processes and QA workflows.
  • Previous experience with accessibility remediation or audit-driven projects.
