We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access infrastructure and safety.
Annual Salary Range:Up to $225000 Super

We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our dynamic Technology Operations team. As a team member you will play a pivotal role in working with our business and helping to support and provide engineering services to the digital platform. About the Opportunity
The Solution Architect will lead the architecture of AEM-based web and content platforms designing scalable reusable components and automated workflows. With strong expertise in software architecture and enterprise solution design you bring hands-on experience with AEM 6.5 Java RESTful services front-end technologies and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Youre also skilled in modern DevOps toolchains headless CMS GraphQL APIs and thrive in Agile delivery environments.
Reporting to the Lead Solution Architect the Senior Solution Architect will deliver insight-driven commercial data solutions that enhance decision-making efficiency and revenue while building and optimizing data models and pipelines for real-time & analytical use. The role will focus on ensuring all solutions are strategically aligned with the broader technology roadmap and business objectives while delivering intuitive reliable and responsive platforms that elevate the customer experience.
- Solution Design & Architecture: You design and deploy secure scalable solutions across cloud and SaaS platforms integrating diverse systems to support both internal operations and customer-facing services. With a focus on commercial value you architect data solutions and pipelines that deliver actionable insights support decision-making and align with strategic business goals while continuously driving innovation and enhancing the user experience.
- Governance & Risk Management: Identify and mitigate architectural risks to ensure solutions are resilient secure and compliant. By establishing and implementing architectural standards best practices and governance frameworks you ensure consistency and strategic alignment across all solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with enterprise and solution architecture teams to ensure designs align with organisation-wide strategies standards and governance frameworks. By collaborating with business leaders product managers and technical teams you translate business needs into robust scalable architectural solutions that drive value and maintain strategic alignment.
- Leadership: Collaborate with a team of Solution Architects fostering a cohesive and high-performing environment through active contribution and knowledge-sharing. Working across cross-functional teams you provide guidance and education to build a strong organisation-wide understanding of Commercial Data Architecture.
About you
You are a seasoned technology professional with a strong foundation in solution architecture backed by a bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related field. You bring extensive experience designing enterprise-level systems particularly within AEM environments and have cross-functional exposure to cloud platforms like AWS and Azure as well as SaaS products. You have a customer-first mindset consistently designing intuitive user-focused solutions that support both customer-facing platforms and internal systems.
Your deep understanding of architectural best practices standards and governance frameworks allows you to create scalable strategic solutions that align closely with business objectives. You excel at building strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams and are skilled at communicating complex concepts in a clear accessible way. With a passion for collaboration you work effectively with cross-functional Agile teams and thrive in environments that embrace continuous learning innovation and modern delivery practices such as DevSecOps and human-centered design.
You may also hold a masters degree in a business or technology discipline and certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman. Your analytical mindset problem-solving abilities and drive to stay ahead of industry trends make you a trusted advisor and valued contributor to any team.
