Job Description

Join Our Team as a Support Worker Make a Real Difference

At Homes for Support were dedicated to providing stability guidance and positive life changes for vulnerable children and young people. Since 2019 weve been delivering high-quality care across our three core services: OFSTED-registered Residential Childrens Homes (therapeutic care for ages 5-18) Supported Accommodation (for ages 16-18) and community outreach. What Youll Be Doing

As a Support Worker youll be an integral part of a close-knit team working together to create a structured engaging and supportive environment for young people. Your role will include:

  • Providing Direct Care & Support Help young people navigate daily routines build essential life skills and develop confidence in a stable and structured environment.
  • Building Positive Relationships Earn trust and respect while setting boundaries that encourage personal growth and responsibility.
  • Problem-Solving & Leadership Handle situations calmly and confidently using initiative to de-escalate conflicts and make informed decisions.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration Work closely with colleagues to maintain a consistent and safe environment ensuring that young people feel secure and supported.
  • Engaging in Varied Activities Get involved in a wide range of experiences including school runs attending professional meetings health and education appointments and supporting family contact sessions.
  • Outdoor & Recreational Activities Join young people in active pursuits such as swimming rugby hiking biking theme parks soft play and more encouraging them to try new things and stay active.

  • Be eager to learn and develop with the requirement to gain industry-recognised qualifications.

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: 29448 (35 hours per week working a 2 on 4 off shift pattern) up to 43286 (3 on 3 off working pattern)
