Job Description
We are seeking a (RN- Interventional Radiology) for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Newburyport MA 01950.
- Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
- Shift: Day (8)-8:00 start
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2920 - $3200
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan implement and evaluate patient care
- Monitor document and interpret hemodynamic data during procedures
- Operate and assist with specialized equipment including Rotablator IVUS FFR IABP Impella and manage patients on ECMO (if applicable)
- Prepare patients pre-procedure and manage post-procedure recovery
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts RN license (active and in good standing).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification-required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification-required.
- Minimum of 3 5 years of nursing experience-required.
- Cardiac catheterization lab experience required.
- Proficiency with:
- Diagnostic caths
- Interventional procedures
- Rotablator
- IVUS
- FFR
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- IABP and Impella experience required.
- ECMO experience preferred.
- Previous foundational ICU or Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred.
