Job Description
Travel RN/Tele Contract Role
Location: Altoona PA 16601
Shift: Variable shift
Duration: 12-weeks contract
Weekly Pay: $1728 $1908
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and detect dysrhythmias
- Administer and titrate IV drips and cardiac medications
- Respond to emergency situations promptly
- Accurately document patient assessments interventions and outcomes
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions and treatments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient care
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience (required)
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Active Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
- American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
- American Heart Association ACLS certification (required)
- Proficient and comfortable with titration of drips (required)
- Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills
