Job Description
- Location: Watertown New York 13601
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: 12-hour VARYING shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2232 - $2376
- Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including general vascular and obstetric studies.
- Ensure proper patient identification positioning and preparation for exams.
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively adjusting techniques as necessary for optimal imaging results.
- Analyze images and provide technical impressions to the interpreting physician.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate initiative and good judgment in all aspects of daily work.
- Follow infection control and safety policies.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
- Minimum of one year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Specific training and experience in Medical Sonography including vascular and obstetric ultrasound.
- Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible.
- Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal organizational written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Demonstrated integrity honesty and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to exercise independent initiative and sound decision-making.

- Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 60 miles.
