About:
Lead plant accounting and financial operations focusing on cost accounting inventory valuation reporting and analysis in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
-
Manage standard costing inventory valuation and annual rate updates
-
Analyze monthly variances and production work orders
-
Develop standard costs for new products
-
Lead variance and KPI review meetings
-
Supervise two cost accountants
-
Ensure accurate inventory transactions and reporting
-
Review journal entries reconciliations and reserves
-
Partner with supply chain to improve financial KPIs
-
Support budgeting and physical inventory counts
-
Identify cost-saving opportunities
-
Maintain costing and inventory procedures
-
Perform ad hoc financial analyses
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors in Business/Accounting or related
-
5-8 years cost accounting experience with supervision manufacturing preferred
-
Knowledge of production routing BOMs standard costing
-
Advanced Excel and financial modeling
-
Experience with AS400 ERP (PRMS); OneStream a plus
-
Strong communication leadership and GAAP knowledge
