Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Support Engineer / Developer for a contract role in Charlotte NC. The candidate must be with a strong background in SQL PowerShell scripting and Java. This role will involve supporting and enhancing legacy applications automating processes and providing technical solutions in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain enterprise applications developed in and Java
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction reporting and analysis
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and task management
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues in production environments
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and functionality
- Maintain proper documentation for code processes and solutions
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL (queries procedures optimization)
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for system administration and automation
- Solid knowledge of and Java development
- Experience in production support and issue resolution
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
