Pulmonology/Critical Care Permanent Role - Location: Marble Falls TX 78654
- Shift: Full-Time Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities: - Provide evaluation diagnosis and treatment for patients with pulmonary diseases including but not limited to COPD asthma interstitial lung disease pulmonary hypertension and sleep-disordered breathing
- Manage critically ill patients in the ICU setting including ventilator management hemodynamic support and other intensive care therapies
- Perform bronchoscopies thoracentesis and other pulmonary procedures as clinically indicated
- Interpret pulmonary function tests imaging and sleep studies
- Coordinate care with referring physicians hospitalists advanced practice providers and other specialties
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences
- Provide patient and family education regarding conditions treatment plans and prognosis
- Maintain accurate timely and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical program development initiatives
- Share in pulmonary and critical care call coverage as assigned
Qualifications: - Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
- DEA license and controlled substance registration.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Excellent clinical organizational and interpersonal skills.
