We re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Data Engineering to lead the design and execution of our Azure-based data platform. This role is central to driving digital transformation across the organization by delivering scalable secure and business-aligned data solutions.

ABOUT THE POSITION
We re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Data Engineering to lead the design and execution of our Azure-based data platform. This role is central to driving digital transformation across the organization by delivering scalable secure and business-aligned data solutions.
- Define and execute data engineering strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead the design development and optimization of Azure data services (Data Factory Databricks SQL DB etc.).
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through data innovation and automation.
- Manage and mentor the data engineering team.
- Partner with business and technical leaders to ensure data solutions support growth and agility.
- Establish data governance security and quality standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to evolve data architecture and tooling.
- Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 10 years in data engineering including 5 in leadership.
- Proven success leading Azure data platform initiatives in enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of data architecture ETL and cloud data operations.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric Power BI Azure DataOps a plus.
- Azure certifications required; Snowflake and Databricks certifications preferred.
- Excellent leadership communication and execution skills.
