• Hours: 19.25 per week
• Shift Pattern: 3 days on 3 days off (rolling rota)
• Shifts: 9am – 4pm

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our residents ensuring their well-being and happiness.

As a Housekeeper you will play a vital role in ensuring the home is impeccably clean organized and welcoming. Your duties will include:

• Cleaning: Maintaining a clean tidy and hygienic environment throughout the care home including communal areas residents’ rooms and bathrooms.
• Laundry: Washing drying ironing and returning residents’ clothing and linens ensuring their personal items are cared for with respect and attention to detail.
• Infection Control: Adhering to strict cleaning schedules and infection control protocols to provide a safe and healthy environment for residents visitors and staff.
• Stock Management: Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies ensuring all materials are available for effective day-to-day operations.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and addressing any housekeeping needs promptly.

We are seeking a proactive detail-oriented and compassionate individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience in housekeeping cleaning or laundry services ideally within a care home or similar setting.
• A strong understanding of hygiene safety and infection control standards.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• A flexible approach to work including the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the home.
• A passion for creating a clean welcoming and homely environment for our residents.
