Job Description:
This is a hybrid opportunity requiring onsite presence 1 week per month in San Mateo County CA. The HB/HB Claims Analyst will support a new EHR implementation project primarily focusing on Epic application build tasks. The ideal candidate will have Epic HB certification (HB Claims certification highly desired) and at least 2 years of Epic build experience in a healthcare organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Complete Epic application build tasks
- Conduct workflow analysis documentation and translation of requirements into application features
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables
- Follow Epic Foundation standards for build and support system specifications
- Develop and maintain testing and training documentation
- Comply with governance processes including change control and ticket tracking
- Participate in workflow discussions testing events and go-live support
- Support workflow adoption training and system optimization efforts
Required Skills:
- Active Epic Certification in Hospital Billing (HB) Required
- Minimum 2 years of Epic design/build/implementation experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field
- Strong understanding of hospital operations and clinical integration
- High technical proficiency in all implementation phases
- Familiarity with Epics assisted application modules
Preferred Skills:
- Active Epic Certification in Hospital Billing Claims (HB Claims) Highly Desired
- Experience in patient billing
- Experience with workflow adoption and system optimization
- Prior participation in go-live support activities
