Being a part of the Pricing department means you will actively support us in delivering changes to prices and underwriting criteria across esures motor and home insurance products. You will assist in delivering pricing initiatives that really make our pricing and rating capabilities market leading. You will learn how to use marketing leading insurance software including Radar and Emblem whilst also building upon your statistical software skills by using software such as SAS and Python.

By joining the pricing team at esure youll be at the centre of some of the key decision making within the company giving you a great opportunity to effect change. Depending on your appetite you could get stuck into risk premium modelling (e.g. the likelihood of a customer claiming) using industry leading software and data science techniques. Alternatively help support and design our portfolio level pricing strategies (where should we grow what does future profitability look like and its sensitivities to key assumptions about the future). Or you could work with people across the company to create new propositions for us to take to market.
Theres also no reason why you cant do all of the above as we support rotations around the team to support the development into a future pricing leader

The Interview Process (subject to change):
This will be a 1.5 interview with 2 senior members of our Pricing team. This will include competency style based questions alongside some technical questions focused on your pre interview research of the Insurance industry.
