AECOM is offering an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Soil Groundwater and Remediation Team . Youll work in a collaborative high-performing environment that prioritises wellbeing flexibility and professional growth.
Our team supports a broad range of sectors including industrial energy pharmaceutical land development ports road and rail delivering services such as:
- Desk studies
- Site investigation
- Risk assessment
- Remediation strategy design implementation and validation
- Environmental monitoring and close-out
This role provides an excellent platform to develop technical and commercial skills take ownership of projects and contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes.
Heres what you will do:
- Deliver Phase 1 environmental assessments ground investigations and routine monitoring tasks;
- Work independently to ensure technical quality budget control and programme adherence;
- Support the preparation of fee proposals for internal and external clients;
- Manage projects from desk study and feasibility through to delivery of site investigations and data interpretation to remediation design and delivery

Qualifications :
Ready to push the limits of whats possible
Heres what were looking for:
Education
- Ideally a minimum of an undergraduate degree in an environmental science or engineering-based subject
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- A good understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations and site management
- Development of conceptual site models
- Qualitative risk assessment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports and documents
Field Experience. Hands-on experience with field investigation including:
- Site management
- Drilling supervision
- Collection of groundwater and ground gas samples
- Supervision of remediation activities
Other Requirements
- Full driving licence
- Willing to travel within the UK and work away from home for periods of time
- CSCS card holder
