Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a dedicated First Line Flight Operations Leader to join our F-15 EPAWSS Modification Program based in San Antonio Texas. The ideal candidate will lead and develop their teams with a strong emphasis on safety quality and compliance. This leader will partner with peers cross-organization/functional teams and our customers to execute and improve the build work statement while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety and quality. Position is located in San Antonio TX.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.
Position Responsibilities:
Driving a safety quality and compliance culture.
Ensuring that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation systems operation functional testing modification maintenance troubleshooting repair preflight and post flight checks release for flight and preparation for delivery.
Interfacing with flight crews engineering records program leadership and support personnel to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance.
Providing oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
Promoting and supporting a team environment through positive relationships in line with Boeing Values.
Leading teams in multiple maintenance disciplines and managing daily operational responsibilities.
Reviewing plans resolving production issues and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience in leading flight line operations ensuring aircraft are in a flight ready condition to support a highly visible US Air Force program
3 years of experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems requiring ingenuity and innovation
3 years of experience with organizational and team building skills performed in a cross-functional environment
3 years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
3 years of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
1 years of experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
Willing to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
5 years of experience in either aircraft operations aircraft maintenance related to F-15 aircraft operations and/or maintenance
3 years of experience with F-15 aircraft systems
