Job Description
The Utility Cleaner maintains the Sports Complex facilities in a fashion that ensures they are clean and refreshed on a regular basis based on the standards established by the Director of Recreation and at a level that meets or exceeds health and sanitation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the facility including floors equipment counters restrooms etc.
- Ensures that paper and other disposable products are restocked and refreshed as necessary.
- Awareness to all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners.
- Will perform frequent cleaning duties such as mopping sweeping washing windows and any others as assigned by management.
- Cleans and services all restrooms and locker rooms (men and ladies).
- Cleans and services all lobby areas.
- Clean stairwells elevators and hallways.
- Cleans outside entrances to the Sports Complex.
- Maintain housekeeping supply storeroom by organizing new supplies upon delivery and restock of floors
- Complete daily weekly monthly quarterly projects as assigned by Managers/Supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Maintain a professional business appearance attitude and performance
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts including AM weekends and holidays.
- Move bend lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires repetitive motion.
