We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Planner to be based in Jeddah Saudi Arabia managing major projects. In this role you will proactively support sales & project delivery functions by creating project schedules and related support material for use in KONE estimates and execution.
We are looking for somebody who understands how to partner and collaborate with the business with an analytical mindset and strong business acumen.
What will you do
Support sales function by creating project schedules and related support material for use in KONE estimates and proposals.
Design construct and maintain cost and resource-loaded schedules for projects in execution and proactively highlights resource and time challenges in meeting schedule requirements.
Interact directly with customers to clearly understand overall project requirements and milestones in order to integrate construction master schedules with those specific to KONE scope.
Bridge potential misalignment between KONE Supply Line and Front Line by actively checking project schedules and identifying and suggesting corrective actions and scheduling opportunities.
Assist Project Managers in the development and maintenance of existing schedules performing critical path acceleration and gap analysis as required.
Assist in project performance analysis and forecasting based on Critical Path and Earned Value.
Maintain accurate records of schedule development throughout the lifetime of the project.
Ensure bespoke customer reports and contractual planning obligations are understood and fulfilled.
Provide support to Project Teams and management in relation to EOT claims delay analysis and Cause and Effect scheduling.
Assist in project risk and opportunity analysis.
Contribute to the development of planning processes and best practices and assists with their implementation and guides; support and train project teams in their application.
Are you the one
Bachelor degree in Engineering.
5 years of experience in the construction industry or other relevant fields.
Proven experience in construction project planning.
Good knowledge of cost planning and contract study.
5 years experience using MS Project/Primavera planning tool P6 version 20.
Excellent verbal and written English and Arabic language skills.
Excellent presentation & analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate multitask and handle changing projects requirements.
