Team Overview
Technology and Operations (Tech Ops) supports the development of the firms operating infrastructure to support BlackRocks investment businesses worldwide. Tech Ops establishes and coordinates operational procedures internally and externally with clients custodians accounting agents prime brokers broker-dealers and other vendors as well as strengthen BlackRocks relationships.
Global Fund Distributor Services (GFDS) is a unit within Tech Ops Global Accounting and Product Services (GAAPS). GFDS provides management and oversight of BlackRock Fund Transfer Agents and distribution partners that service and distribute our Fund Ranges globally. We also perform governance and oversight of BlackRocks Retail Fund Distribution Partners. As we look to expand GFDS footprint in India we are seeking an Analyst to join our team.
In the main this role will sit within the Dealer Services team with a focus on the oversight reporting monitoring and servicing for intermediaries and support distributor operations for BlackRock Investments LLC (BRIL) on a variety of products including Mutual Funds 529 and Alternatives. This requires a strong attention to detail diligent proactive attitude to ensure all deadlines are met with a strong focus on accuracy.
As a member of the team this role will primarily be responsible for the following:
Perform specific tasks related to the Due Diligence Reviews (DDRs) of third-party intermediaries for various fund types including compiling target list completing risk assessments tracking and maintaining progress preparing materials for internal committee.
Collect and report out fund financial information needed for BRIL
Evaluate intermediaries compliance with prospectus disclosure requirements laws regulations and contractual agreements.
Maintain and update industry repository (DTCC MFPSII) with prospectus updates
Conduct monthly Broker Dealer licensing review
Provide monthly reporting to internal and external business partners for retail mutual funds and 529 products.
Complete fund fact sheets for intermediaries for retail funds 529 and alternative products
Conduct initial due diligence review on intermediaries executing new dealer agreements
Produce daily/quarterly department metrics
Experience
Strongly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
Financial services experience and a good understanding of Financial Markets preferred
Bachelors degree in finance business or a related field
Experience working under time constraints and within deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate compliance and financial information.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial data and compliance documentation.

Engage and maintain relationships with key partners in GAAPS and across the firm to effectively navigate the global organization
Provide exceptional client service through quick and complete response to internal/external client queries
Assist with developing metrics and reporting for senior management
