Position Responsibilities:

• Oversees system integration hardware and software installation configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture

• Provides complex problem resolution root cause analysis and technical support for delivery systems

• Participates in the design validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems

• Plans and coordinates system changes

• Administers user system access and establishes safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements

• Oversees activities to monitor system performance to support capacity planning backup and disaster recovery planning

• Mentors leads and trains others

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5) formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

• Active CompTIA Security DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification

• 5 years of experience with installing configuring troubleshooting and administering current Linux versions

• 5 years of experience with deploying securing and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems (RHEL5/6/7/8)

• 5 years of experience with maintaining and configuring Active Directory (AD)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work or military experience

• 3 years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support

• 3 years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems

• 3 years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware

• 3 years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating system problems and resolution

• 3 years of experience integrating security solutions (e.g. Splunk) into information systems
