Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze business requirements within the oil and gas sector.
- Implement SAP solutions tailored to the specific needs of clients.
- Customize SAP modules related to oil and gas functions.
- Conduct system testing to ensure functionality aligns with business goals.
- Provide training and support to end-users for optimal system utilization.
- Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure deliverables meet deadlines.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to refine processes and address issues.
- Stay updated on SAP advancements that can benefit oil and gas operations.
- Assist in regulatory compliance and reporting aligned with industry standards.
- Maintain documentation and support materials for system users.
- Analyze data trends to inform strategic business decisions.
- Engage with vendors for upgrades and enhancements of SAP solutions.
- Support troubleshooting for system issues and provide resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in SAP implementation preferably in the oil and gas sector.
- Proficient in specific SAP modules relevant to oil and gas such as SAP IS-OIL.
- Strong understanding of business processes in the oil and gas industry.
- Project management certification is an asset.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements as required.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards impacting the oil and gas industry.
- Experience with change management practices during SAP implementation.
- Familiarity with other ERP systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices related to SAP systems.
- Professional certifications in SAP are advantageous.
