Job Description
We are conducting a confidential search for a reputable international manufacturing organization seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in Columbus OH. This is a key role supporting daily plant operations preventive maintenance troubleshooting and ensuring equipment reliability and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant equipment.
- Ensure operational uptime through troubleshooting repairs and preventative care.
- Support project installations plant upgrades and equipment relocations.
- Maintain safety and equipment compliance per operational standards.
- Use tools including welders forklifts and diagnostic devices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical certification (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to weld (TIG/MIG/Plasma) and operate various shop tools.
- Working knowledge of pumps gearboxes and hydraulic systems.
- Experience operating forklifts and participating in project installations.
