Job Description

As our Director of Information Technology Services youll take the helm of a dynamic team that leads project delivery Tier 3 escalations and solution design in close partnership with our sales and executive leadership teams. What Youll Do
As Director youll lead the strategy and execution of our IT Services division including:
- Own Tier 3 Escalations: Oversee and guide the resolution of complex issues from our Managed Services group or internal teams ensuring quality speed and customer satisfaction.
- Shape Our Tech Stack: Evaluate and manage vendor partnerships drive product selection and constantly evolve our go-to-market strategy to stay ahead of the curve.
- Be the Sales Teams Strategic Partner: Lead or delegate key elements of solution design scoping and proposal development for IT projects from discovery to delivery.
- Drive Project Execution: Ensure a seamless handoff from sales to project management and deployment while maintaining oversight on timelines order entry and outcomes.
- Inspire and Grow Your Team: Coach and manage a high-performing group of IT Services professionalssetting goals tracking metrics driving results and fostering a positive growth-oriented culture.
- Lead Advanced IT Specialties: Serve as the escalation point for specialties including virtualization cloud computing data security and business continuity planning.
Additional Responsibilities
- Partner with sales to assess opportunity lifecycle and support internal IT initiatives.
- Make recommendations on infrastructure upgrades software and security improvements.
- Deliver high-level consultation and insights to VAF leadership.
- Serve as a key backup for the Vice President of Converged Communications as needed.
What You Bring to the Table

Your Experience Should Include
Required:
- A 2- or 4-year degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 4 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Certifications in Windows Server 2008 Network and Cisco IOS or equivalent
Preferred:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory DNS and Exchange.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 implementation and support.
- VMWare vSphere (v4 or later) certification a plus.
