Job Description
Overview
Location: CONNRI Lodge Older Adult Ministries Camp (Ashford CT)
Status: Seasonal Full-time (July 15 2025 August 08 2025)
Rate of Pay: $2700 per season plus room and board
Scope of Position: Assist with cleaning the Lodge and serving food to all campers staff and guests.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years old.
- QFO (qualified food operator)/ServeSafe certification is required or willing to obtain once hired.
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper is preferred.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to safely and correctly clean with solid attention to detail.
- Ability to safely and adequately use kitchen and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high performance and professionalism.
- Experience working in a camp kitchen or other institution is preferred.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Must complete KeepSAfe and other training requirements upon hire.
- Must embrace support and reflect well on The Salvation Armys mission and values.
- Will understand respect and promote the interest of The Salvation Army. The individual is not required to embrace the tenets of faith but they are required to promote and respect the mission of The Salvation Army.
