Position
Direct Support Professional in Lindsay ON - Part-time 19 hours per week rotation including every other weekend and afternoon shifts.
Full G license and personal automobile insurance required.
The pay range is $24.20-$28.31.

Direct Support Professional
- Provides critical services to the people supported by Karis Disability Services and works to ensure that people belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and respected.
- Seeks to promote Karis Disability Services Service Principles by enhancing relationships promoting citizenship valuing peoples gifts recognizing self-determination encouraging growth and development and recognizing the need for holistic supports in a manner that considers each persons intrinsic value
- Assists with activities of daily living and promotes life development as outlined in person centered plans. This is done through collaboration with their team families advocates friends and community partners. The Direct Support Professional completes administrative duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
- Helps build communities of belonging in accordance to the core Values of Karis Disability Services; Valuing People Fostering Belonging Serving Others and Respecting Gifts
- Respect and upholds the Values Vision and Mission of Karis Disability Services demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy respect and integrity in their dealings with persons supported other employees and both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation
- 6 Months Experience (minimum)
- Developmental Services Worker Child and Youth Worker or post-secondary education in a related field
