Grade 1 - St. Mary School Elyria
St. Mary School is seeking an enthusiastic 1st grade teacher committed to educating young children communicating with parents and working cooperatively with faculty and staff. Knowledge of current teaching methods as well as the ability to differentiate instruction is required.

Requirements:
Planning preparing and implementing lessons according to the objectives and goals set by the Diocese of Cleveland

Possess or be willing to pursue a religious education certificate through the Diocese of Cleveland.

Use technology effectively to engage students differentiate instruction assess students enhance instruction and implement STREAM opportunities.

Ability to walk up and down stairs in the main school building.

Qualifications:

State of Ohio Teaching License (or receive license by the start of the 2025-2026 school year)

Successful prior teaching experience is a plus.

Virtus Trained (or willing to be trained)

BCI/FBI check
