Job Description
Under the general direction of and upon physician referral; the Physical Therapist helps in assessing the functional needs of physically disabled patients develops treatment goals plans and implements appropriate treatment plans utilizing a variety of physical therapy treatment procedures.
Bonus- $15000 Sign-on & Relocation Assistance
Hours:
- Normal hours are 8am - 4:30pm - Schedule is based on department needs
Primary Duties:
- Based upon the treatment diagnosis of the patient objectively and quantifiably assess a baseline level of physical function for each patient evaluations should include a baseline assessment of pertinent medical and onset history cognitive function sensory-perceptual-motor function functional mobility and pain baseline information should be sufficient to adequately form the basis of treatment outcome goals.
- Based upon the initial assessment of the patient identify functional needs and establish appropriate treatment outcome goals will be established as an expected outcome of the patients treatment plan will be expressed in measurable terms and will be realistic and appropriate to the patients condition.
- Based upon the treatment outcome goals established for the patient plan and implement treatment programs designed to achieve or significantly progress toward achievement of outcome programs will be dynamic relative to the clinical response of the patient and will achieve a level of consistency and continuity that will enhance the patients clinical response.
Requirements
- Graduate from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy
- Licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Idaho
- Current BLS
- A Masters Degree is preferred
