Role: Software Asset Manager
On-Site: Colorado Springs Colorado
Salary: $60000 - $75000
We are are looking for two Software Asset Managers to support IRES Contract in Colorado Springs.
Essential Duties:
Maintaining software standards validated product lists and maintenance contracts within the asset management database
Using SAM management tools to Identify manage and audit all software identified within each enclave. Help technical teams approve deploy update and remove software products from user systems as needed.
Process software application requests from employees through the organizations approval process to include procurement of new software.
Monitor Schedule on maintenance and software support renewals for the task order customers.
Coordinate maintenance and renewal requirements from proposal through execution.
Coordinate with CLAW renewal manager in Bill of Materials (BOM) development.
Coordinate budgetary requirements with Control Account Managers (CAM) and Earned Value Analysts (EV).
Monitor Purchase Requests (PR) for TO renewals and enterprise contract agreements.
Support interface between the renewal manager and the buyers during the Procurement process.
Communicate with the Procurement team on matters of priority or urgency.
Support the renewal manager in questions from vendors/suppliers regarding quotes.
Track PRs through approval to PO award receiving and providing updates to the Program Control team.
Coordinate with requesters and buyers to ensure proper receipt of materials.
Support buyers and renewal manager if issues occur with order receipt.
A professional communicator to ensure information flows seamlessly tasks are executed efficiently and team dynamics remain strong.
Essential Experience:
Have a working knowledge of software titles and their capabilities within the IT industry.
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and MRP systems.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have knowledge of supply chain processes.
Be able to communicate professionally
Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet procurement and contractual deadlines.
