Job Description

Key Account Manager - Mechanical Systems Automotive Supply Chain

Location: Novi MI (Hybrid Position)
Salary: $100000 Bonus Car Allowance

This role is perfect for someone who has expertise in mechatronics actuator systems control cables or seating systems with a proven track record in Tier 1 supplier engagement.

Role Summary:
As a Key Account Manager you will split your focus equally between nurturing existing accounts and driving new business initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will include managing detailed account plans fostering long-term client relationships and aggressively pursuing new business opportunities to contribute to the companys rapid growth trajectory.

Essential Duties:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders within the automotive supply chain.
  • Manage both the operational and strategic aspects of customer accounts.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Collaborate with engineering program management and operations teams to develop innovative solutions and quotes.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer requirements and manage commercial issues efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Experience of mechanisms mechatronics control cables or seating systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with automotive seating Tier-1 suppliers or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of engineering product sales including pricing strategies and customer management.
  • Proven record of achieving revenue growth and profitability in a similar role.
