Waukegan IL

- Routine maintenance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
- Perform and/or schedule with the appropriate vendor for routine maintenance such as painting plumbing electrical work HVAC system repairs.
- Respond to maintenance requests and address issues as leaks malfunctions or damages.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inspections.
- Report any majorissues or needed repairs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Coordinate with other departments to address building maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with staff and management regarding maintenance schedules and updates.
Emergency Response:
- Be available for emergency response if required.
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field is a plus
- Knowledge of basic plumbing electrical and HVAC systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent: technical or trade school certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- The position may require working in various weather conditions and occasionally lifting equipment or materials. Some tasks may involve working at heights or in confined spaces.
