The Role:
Join the executive leadership team at CSF as our Executive Director of Sourcing a pivotal role that leads strategic sourcing and procurement efforts across a $1B healthcare supply spend. Youll guide a high-performing sourcing team foster innovative supplier partnerships and deliver best-in-class value to our member health systems.
This is your opportunity to shape sourcing strategies that impact hospital systems across the region using data-driven methodologies collaborative leadership and cutting-edge supply chain practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-hospital sourcing initiatives and member engagements to align strategies and drive savings.
- Oversee RFP/RFI processes and contract lifecycle management for clinical non-clinical capital and purchased services.
- Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with member systems and strategic suppliers.
- Direct and mentor sourcing leaders overseeing $1B in annual spend.
- Set department-wide and individual savings goals aligned with CSFs mission.
- Implement advanced category management and cost-reduction frameworks.
- Utilize real-time dashboards for initiative tracking and forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications
The Successful Candidate will bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Healthcare Administration or related field required.
- Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- 8 years of healthcare sourcing experience within an acute care or GPO environment.
- 5 years of experience facilitating collaboration between supply chain stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives.
- 8years of proven experience in leadership roles with oversight of strategic sourcing supplier relations and analysis
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sourcing teams and achieving measurable cost savings.
- Deep understanding of healthcare supply chain processes and categories.
- Advanced skills in negotiation vendor management and contract development.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously in high-pressure cross-functional environments.
- Ability to travel to member sites and supplier locations
- Work under time constraints and manage multiple priorities.
Skills:
- Advanced negotiation and vendor management expertise
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel and adapt to a fast-paced environment
