Senior Systems Engineer 5

T-Rex is looking for a talented Senior System Engineer 5 to work on a program in the Ft. Meade area in support of the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Systems Engineer will support the Cyber Threat Intelligence initiative which defends of our nations most critical unclassified and classified networks. This is for a position on the Collection team. The SE will work with software development and systems engineering teams to develop cloud-based solutions in line with customer mission needs. The SE will work with multi-disciplined technical teams to develop requirements plan deployments and manage customer needs.
• Strong customer outreach and product marketing skills for interfacing with mission and capabilities partners.
• Experience with data sharing policies and authorizations both internal to customer and external partnerships.
• Experience with data thread engineering to include multi-domain (TS S U) threading.
• Experience with developing system architecture and design planning documentation.
• Experience with capturing and documenting artifacts with Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Cloud Service provider offerings specifically AWs and Azure
• Knowledge of general cloud computing and big data analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and 15 years of related experience
• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required within the last 7 years

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines the annual base salary range for this position is $190000 - $220000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
