You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Windsor Group Disability Operations team is looking for an analytical self-starter with a high focus on customer service to join their team as a Return-to-Work Specialist.
In this role you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of return-to-work planning requiring analyzing medical and collecting ergonomic information to ensure suitable and sustainable placement within outlined abilities. Communication and negotiations skills are a vital part of this position as you will be interacting directly with stakeholders including injured workers. plan sponsors WSIB personnel union representatives and medical professionals.
Travelling around the Windsor area is required so you must have your own vehicle and a valid drivers license.
Position Responsibilities:
Communicate with stakeholders to facilitate and conduct ergonomic assessments and return-to-work meetings both virtually and in-person.
Work with Case Managers to effectively manage medical non-medical and complex cases using goal-oriented and cost-effective action plans
Identify assess and ensure job placement opportunities within abilities and make recommendations for accommodation as required
Interact with plan sponsors union WSIB workers and health care professionals
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate RTW program details
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to perform ergonomic evaluations and suitability assessments
Ability to analyze and interpret medical and ergonomic information
University degree in Kinesiology Ergonomicsor related field
3-5 years experience in active rehabilitation or work facilitation
A valid drivers license and a car are required to travel to various locations within Essex County
Preferred Qualifications:
Sound knowledge of WSIB legislative policies and procedures occupational health issues rehabilitation plans and disability insurance considered an asset
Good understanding of medical terminology
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills within a highly unionized environment
Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
PC skills - Windows Word and Excel

Salary range is expected to be between
$50700.00 CAD - $84500.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location please contact for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
