As the Leader Business Transformation you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to create enhance and transform client and employee centric solutions. You must possess a business savvy strategic vision and the drive and tenacity to make that vision a reality. You must revel in seeking to understand clients needs and challenges the companys safety imperatives and be committed to finding meaningful solutions that deliver on both. This role is responsible for helping deliver client-centric solutions to support strategic projects. You will ensure that client needs are paramount as you help build the product roadmap and that communication and processes flow smoothly within the development team. This role requires the ability to understand customer and user needs understand the overall portfolio identify intersections and dependencies and initiate improvements while collaborating internally and externally to support our highly cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful and impactful experiences to our clients and employees.

As a Leader Business Transformation you will:
Cultivate relationships with clients stakeholders industry groups and Technical Safety BC employees to drive safety performance in sustainable ways.
- Lead Business Transformation
- Manage the full transformation lifecycle aligning client profiles safety needs process efficiencies and revenue opportunities with effective resource investment.
- Steward a compelling transformation vision and collaborate across departments to promote it externally.
- Product Strategy & Development
- Contribute to the development of Technical Safety BCs product strategy tools and processes.
- Build organizational capacity in product development methodologies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve products delivery models and channels based on client types and safety needs.
- Product & Portfolio Management
- Drive business outcomes across multiple platforms/products ensuring alignment with client/user needs.
- Represent client/user interests throughout the product lifecycle including requirements backlog ownership prioritization and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with business and technical owners to define functional and non-functional requirement
- Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
- Represent TECHNICAL SAFETY BC publicly and cultivate relationships with stakeholders peers and clients.
- Monitor transformation performance and respond to emerging trends and future requirements.
- Project & Vendor Management
- Lead projects and manage vendor relationships including procurement proposals contracts and negotiations.
- Change Management & Support
- Lead change management activities including post-launch operations support user documentation resourcing and support planning.
- Resolve key customer and stakeholder concerns and escalations.
- Market & Client Insights
- Conduct and apply research (company client industry market) to identify safety and business needs engagement preferences and market opportunities.
- Validate market demand and launch programs that drive adoption and sustained participation in the safety system.
- Performance & Financial Management
- Develop and monitor product performance metrics (e.g. cost revenue margin satisfaction churn market penetration).
- Develop pricing strategies that influence client behavior and support financial sustainability.
Knowledge Skills & Experience you have:
- Product Management & Leadership
- 7 years of experience in product management development and/or marketing for customer-facing applications supplemented with
- 35 years of team leadership experience
- Education & Professional Background
- Degree in business marketing communications or related field (Masters preferred) or equivalent progressive work experience
- Versatile business professional with a proven track record managing cross-functional portfolios including budget and resource planning
- Expertise in product development from ideation to operationalization and continuous improvement
- Strategic & Analytical Skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience in product strategy and financial responsibility at the product/service/project level
- Understands how strategy drives tactics and how tactics realize strategy
- Project & Process Management
- Skilled in project management human-centered design/design thinking and AGILE methodology
- Proficient in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating across disciplines (Product IT Client Experience Operations)
- Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent written & oral communicator with the ability to empathize engage & persuade diverse audiences
- Thrives in collaborative environments while capable of driving results independently
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement
- Able to collaborate with all levels across the organization from frontline to the executive team
