Job Description
Camels Hump Middle School is looking for a licensed teacher for the role of Math Interventionist for students in grades 7-8 who are struggling in the areas of fact fluency math computation and foundational math.
The successful candidate would have experience in the following areas:
-positively engaging students in the areas of math computation problem solving and math skills outlined in 5th and 6th grade math standards
-implementing pre and post assessments and analyzing data to inform interventions of support for students;
-demonstrating knowledge of and ability to use research-based principles of effective instruction and preparing student lesson plans;
-experience working with middle school students specifically in the areas of fact fluency problem solving foundational math skills;
- team player who likes collaborating and possesses excellent communication skills;
-familiar with VTMtSS and educational support teams
-experience teaching math as well as curriculum development for middle grades
