Job Description
Cardinal Scientific is a comprehensive engineering design and manufacturing company. Our innovative solutions take customers vision from concept to completed hardware in compressed timelines. In order to better serve these needs we are searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer with prototyping and production experience.
Skills/Experience
- Extensive Solids Modeling Experience.
- Practical knowledge of engineering and manufacturing practices including: machining cutting forming and welding.
- Highly creative with the ability to design for manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of GD&T.
- Self motivated with self-directed development goals.
- Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience at working both independently and in team-oriented environments.
- Experience with CAM packages is a plus.
- Robotics and machine vision experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- BSME or equivalent at a minimum.
- Advanced degrees welcome.
- Demonstrated subject matter experience.
- 3-5 years relevant design experience desired.
- MUST be a US Citizen.
