Description
The ASI assists with the instruction supervision and development of students and the operation of the unit as directed by the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI). Although ASI primary instructor duties are usually associated with leadership education the ASI also teaches all JROTC subjects. Academic administrative logistical financial support tasks and after- school activities are equally shared by all instructors as regular duties. Refer to the Air Force JROTC Instruction 36-2010 for more information. Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree; Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) in the grade of E6 or above with at least 10 years of military service. Be certified by AFJROTC HQs as a JROTC instructor (for more information on qualification go to Information This position is vetted through the ROTC Office.Only candidates referred from the ROTC Office will be processed for this position.
