Job Description
Position Title:Math CoachReports to:Building PrincipalsPrimary Function:Facilitate on the job professional development training to support teaching strategies trends data analysis and :Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experienceStrong knowledge of Common Core State Standards for MathematicsExperience working with teachers as a lead teacher coach mentor or instructional leaderStrong classroom management skills Responsibilities:Supervises the development and facilitation of professional learning for school-based leadership teams and teachers to assist in raising the level of instructional performance and student achievement in mathematicsModels and holds a high bar for instruction and coaches school leadership teams and teachers to improve teacher practice through coaching and data consistently to inform strategic decision making. Coaches school leadership teams and teachers on the use of data including student work to identify next steps for student academic successModels an eagerness to receive and implement feedbackSupports development of mathematics-focused community engagement programming and extracurricular activitiesSalary:Per QEA ContractThe Quaboag Regional School District insures equal employment and educational opportunities for its employees and students.
