Job Description
Position Overview:
To greet and welcome guests in the Caf and serve guests with food and beverage items on Caf menu.
Essential Functions:
- Answer questions on menu items and interact with guests in a positive and friendly manner.
- Take orders from guests in the Caf including Starbucks drinks coffee tea and other beverages and food items.
- Operate point of sale system; take and process payments.
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks including specialty drinks. Serve items to customers.
- Prepare minor food prep and knowledge of safety and health procedures.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to each guest.
- Take inventory and replenish items as needed.
- Keep workspace and dining area clean and well maintained.
Specific job knowledge skills and abilities:
- Project a neat clean and professional appearance.
- Be articulate and able to communicate effectively to staff and guests including children verbally and in writing.
- Be committed to the highest standards of hospitality and express a sincere interest in the needs and comfort of guests.
- Ability to remain calm in a stressful situation.
- Be dependable flexible and possess an even temperament.
