Mechanical Manager
At JLL theMechanical Manager supports the Project Lead in managing and executing complex (Mechanical and Plumbing) projects for various industrial developments. This role involves assisting with project coordination technical oversight and team management to ensure successful delivery of mechanical and plumbing systems within scope budget and timeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inmechanical and plumbing systemsengineering and excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Lead in planning coordinating and overseeingmechanical and plumbing systemsengineering projects.
Help develop and reviewmechanical and plumbing systemssystem designs specifications and drawings.
Support in managing project schedules budgets and resources effectively.
Coordinate with internal teams subcontractors architects and clients.
Conduct site visits to monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Assist in preparing technical reports change orders and project documentation.
Help identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues related tomechanical and plumbing systems.
Support quality control processes and ensure adherence to relevant codes and standards.
Contribute to client presentations and progress meetings.
Support the procurement process formechanical and plumbingequipment and materials.
Help prepare project proposals and cost estimates formechanical and plumbingsystems.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in MEP engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems including HVAC Mechanical erection plumbing and fire protection.
Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g. Revit MEP AutoCAD MEP Navisworks).
Familiarity with relevant building codes standards and regulations.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building certifications (e.g. LEED BREEAM).
Understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and smart building technologies.
Experience with energy modelling and analysis.
Familiarity with integrated project delivery methods
