Job Description

About the role
Interested to join a strongly growing and dynamic international insurance company To reinforce our IT team Monument Belgium is looking for an Enterprise Architect Lead forthe Lige offices.You will lead the Enterprise Architect practice within Monument Insurance European Services in collaboration with Monument Re Group.
You are in charge of setting up the Enterprise Architect governance at local level and support the team growth toward Enterprise & Solution Architecture & Design.
Responsibilities
  • As a leader and member of the Architecture team you ensure efficient collaboration and identify all improvement opportunities for the EA practice.
  • Ensure development of required Governance and proper and structured documentation of the current AS-IS Architecture situation.
  • Manage together with the Architect team the Company Reference Architecture
  • Verify design are in line with the reference architecture.
  • Support business projects high level design documentation and initiating documenting and delivering the Enterprise Architecture Change documents.
  • You act as a translator between business requirements and IT architectural changes communicating with the business and translating it to what IT is required to deliver
  • You handle new projects requests initiatives with the PMs.
  • You think pro-actively and collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure proper design is delivered to implementation or development teams
  • Coordinate encourage and manage any initiative related to the implementation or enrichment of business flows & data mapping
  • Ensure the proper documentation and continuous maintenance of the infrastructure and applications EA repository
  • Participate in writing templates and guide in the writing of technical documentation
  • Provide methodological support to projects to implement a consistent architecture
Role Requirements
  • Masters degree (or equivalent) in IT engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in software architecture & development or integration with a strong experience on databases or data flow.
  • Team & People Manager successful experience
  • Working experience in Insurance companies or Financial Sector (Life Insurance is a plus).
  • Communicates concisely and efficiently;
  • Pragmatic profile
  • Takes the lead acts pro-actively sets priorities and is well organized;
  • Likes analyzing solving problems and is result-oriented;
  • Likes working in a changing environment;
  • Able and comfortable to work in a team and individually
  • Technical competences:
    1. Archimate 3.x
    2. TOGAF 9.x Architectural Framework
    3. Enterprise Architecture modeling tools: Visual Paradigm or similar tool experience required
    4. Data Management Methods and Principles
  • You communicate fluently in French and English (oral and written).
