Job Description
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking an Associate Director Instock Management to join our Supply Chain Team based in Boston MA. The Associate Director will lead a high-performing team of 3- 5 while being responsible all aspects of inventory management including (but not limited to): in stock strategy inventory performance vendor improvement key supply chain initiatives and internal cross-functional partnerships. What Youll Do:
- Manage all aspects of supply planning and inventory management
- Manage direct and indirect reports as well as aspects of hiring and recruiting
- Manage a team of 3-5 Instock Managers
- Manage both National Brands and Private Label
- Work with Merchandising Operations Finance Vendor Compliance EDI Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to identify areas of opportunity to improve total supply chain performance
- Identify marshal and organize resources to meet required goals
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop consensus process/project plans
What Youll Need:
- BS/BA in Supply Chain Business Administration or Business Management
- MBA preferred
- 5 years of supply planning experience
- Current managerial responsibility of a team of 3
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional stake holders influence decisions and recommend a course of action based on data analytics
- Ability to think creatively and build innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Ability to drive process improvement with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
- Ability to operate and scale in a growing fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Superior organizational self-motivation and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge in purchasing forecasting and inventory management systems
- Proven record of building teams developing solutions and delivering results
- Previous demand planning supply planning inventory management is a requirement
- Private Label experience a plus
- Advanced technical skills with MS Excel SQL and/or Tableau skills preferred
- Position may require some travel
