Job Description

Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking an Associate Director Instock Management to join our Supply Chain Team based in Boston MA. The Associate Director will lead a high-performing team of 3- 5 while being responsible all aspects of inventory management including (but not limited to): in stock strategy inventory performance vendor improvement key supply chain initiatives and internal cross-functional partnerships. What Youll Do:

  • Manage all aspects of supply planning and inventory management
  • Manage direct and indirect reports as well as aspects of hiring and recruiting
  • Manage a team of 3-5 Instock Managers
  • Manage both National Brands and Private Label
  • Work with Merchandising Operations Finance Vendor Compliance EDI Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to identify areas of opportunity to improve total supply chain performance
  • Identify marshal and organize resources to meet required goals
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop consensus process/project plans

What Youll Need:

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain Business Administration or Business Management
  • MBA preferred
  • 5 years of supply planning experience
  • Current managerial responsibility of a team of 3
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional stake holders influence decisions and recommend a course of action based on data analytics
  • Ability to think creatively and build innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Ability to drive process improvement with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to operate and scale in a growing fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Superior organizational self-motivation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge in purchasing forecasting and inventory management systems
  • Proven record of building teams developing solutions and delivering results
  • Previous demand planning supply planning inventory management is a requirement
  • Private Label experience a plus
  • Advanced technical skills with MS Excel SQL and/or Tableau skills preferred
  • Position may require some travel
