WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
Agile ways of working are key for SimCorps success and in the Transactions & Private Debt product area we are building up a scrum team that needs a Senior DevOps Software Engineer who can be an essential part of the team. Were looking for a DevOps with a passion for cloud technologies and an extensive background in Azure to join our new scrum team. Youll play a critical role in designing implementing and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our fintech platform ensuring it is robust scalable and secure.
You will become part of the Transactions product area within SimCorps Product Division responsible for delivering functionality that enables clients to make investment decisions with our back-office applications.
The Transactions & Private Debt product area consists of four teams each with four to seven software engineers across several geographical locations.
The new team will mainly consist of team members on-site in Noida and as Senior DevOps Software Engineer you will therefore work closely together with other team members both on-site in Noida as well as with team members from other locations (in Europe). Your job will be to contribute with your Azure knowledge and skills to ensure high quality in the backend frameworks and pipeline parts of our solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Design build and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines automate deployments and optimize system performance.
Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues across the development and production environments.
Supporting the development teams in adopting DevOps practices in their daily development tasks i.e. through frequent deployment feature flags to manage experiments and learning from telemetry.
Engage actively in design sessions to ensure your team delivers high-quality work
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Contribute to our DevOps culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
WHAT WE VALUE

5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure (compute networking storage identity).
Practical experience with IaC (Bicep preferred).
Proficiency with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and monitoring tools (Prometheus Grafana Azure Monitor).
Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python.
You also have experience writing automated tests for quality gates ideally with a TDD approach
Effective troubleshooting skills and commitment to problem-solving that prioritizes the customer experience first
On top of the technical skills you bring an eager mindset with a positive and constructive approach to managing and solving challenges
You thrive in projects where the boundaries scope and goals are adjusted as we go and keep a constant eye out for better ways of working and new ideas to maximize business impact
You possess proficient English skills in both writing and speaking
