Job Description
Flowery Branch GA
- Partner with operations leadership to monitor and manage plant expenditures.
- Develop and maintain accurate cost accounting systems.
- Review and report variances between standard and actual costs.
- Analyze gross margins by customer part and production jobs.
- Improve inventory valuation and cost control processes.
- Forecast financial data and prepare detailed cost analyses.
- Evaluate product design and production changes for cost impact.
- Track and reconcile inventory work orders and asset transactions.
- Participate in monthly closing budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Lead or support cost reduction efforts and special financial projects.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- 3 5 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting required.
- Proficient in product costing cost analysis and financial reporting.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with SAP or ERP systems is a must.
- Familiarity with GAAP and standard accounting practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
