Surgery/Colon & Rectal Permanent Role - Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
- Shift: Full-Time Days 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions of the Role: - Examine collect record and maintain patient information including medical histories reports and examination results.
- Prescribe or administer treatment therapy medications vaccinations and other medical care to treat or prevent illness disease or injury.
- Order perform and interpret diagnostic tests and review records and reports to diagnose patients conditions accurately.
- Collaborate as part of a clinical team with advanced practice providers technicians and other physicians in decision-making about tests diagnoses and treatment options for patients with colorectal conditions.
- Monitor patient conditions and progress adjusting treatments as clinically indicated.
- Participate in quality initiatives continuing education and professional development to stay current with advances in colorectal surgery.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and compliance with hospital policies standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: - Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Training: Completion of an accredited residency program in General Surgery and fellowship training in Colon & Rectal Surgery.
- Licensure: Valid Texas medical license. Required.
- Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Colon & Rectal Surgery
- Experience: Prior experience in colon & rectal procedures and surgeries.
