Job Description

  • Delivery of Ground Theory instruction for the MCC APS MCC & MCCI (A) courses 
  • Delivery of Simulator Practical Instruction for the MCC APS MCC & MCCI (A) courses 
  • Development and updating of training materials lesson plans and courseware to align with regulatory changes and industry best practices. 
  • Evaluation and assessment of trainee performance through written examinations simulator assessments and practical exercises providing constructive feedback for improvement. 
  • Adherence to safety procedures security protocols and operational standards during training sessions.
  • Fostering a positive learning environment promoting teamwork professionalism and a commitment to excellence among students. 
  • Other duties at the direction of MMPT.

Qualifications :

  • Hold or previously held UK Part FCL ATPL or CPL.
  • Minimum 1500 hours flying in multicrew operation.
  • High standards of instructional ability and integrity.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules operational demands and evolving training needs.
  • High level of professionalism integrity and commitment to safety.

It is preferable you will have:

  • Current UK Part-FCL MCCI(A) qualification with an EASA Part-FCL MCCI(A) desirable.
  • Extensive experience in training as an instructor for professional pilots license.
  • SFI/TRI and SFE/TRE experience.
  • Experience in operating FNPT II MCC FSTDs or FTDs.
  • Familiarity with UK CAA and EASA regulations and requirements related to APS MCC training.
  • Current or previously held UK Part FCL Flying Instructor Rating


Additional Information :

Salary 62000 - 65000 (depending on experience).

Full time - 40 Hours per week. Working hours within the period 0600-0100 including weekend and Bank Holiday work.

This position is based at Gloucestershire Airport; however there may be a requirement to travel to other locations.
