Tyler Union - CMMS Intern

• Follow all processes and procedures associated with the Tyler Union Safety Management Program.  Advise management of any deviations from this program.
• Support data entry and update work orders under supervision to ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities.
•  Help generate basic reports related to maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in CMMS training sessions to learn system functions and best practices.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to understand plant reliability and maintenance processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and audits as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Must be actively pursuing a bachelors degree in Engineering Information Technology Computer Science Facilities Management or related field.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word Outlook).
• Interest in learning about maintenance management data systems and manufacturing operations
• Strong attention to detail willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to conduct research as assigned.

• Work conditions:
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body include climbing lifting up to 25 pounds balancing walking standing stooping and handling tools and materials.
