Data Governance Analyst

As our Data Governance Analyst you will play a key role in strengthening the data structure quality and protection of our global Vegetables R&D. Youll partner with stakeholders across crops and continents to shape a single source of truth for critical data and enable smarter faster decision-making in breeding trialing and operations. The Challenge
In this global role you will implement and maintain a data governance framework that elevates data standards across the board. From developing reference data and ensuring data integrity in IT systems to driving adoption of security protocols and best practices. Youll lead efforts that ensure our data is not only accurate and reliable but also secure and future-ready. Youll collaborate closely with data stewards functional leaders stakeholders and data science teams to streamline data flows and simplify how information is captured and used. You will drive development of guidelines simplify ways of working organize trainings and engage proactively with IT tool users. Your ability to influence without authority and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences will be key to your success.
Qualifications :
Your Profile
You hold a Bachelors with at least 5 years of experience or a Masters degree with at least 3 years of experience in Data Science Information Technology or a related field and you have 35 years of experience in an R&D environment within the seed industry. You bring advanced data fluency including experience with SQL and open-source programming languages and a deep understanding of breeding pipelines germplasm and trialing operations. Youre an independent self-starter who thrives in matrixed environments and can drive alignment across global teams. With your collaborative mindset problem-solving ability and drive to continuously improve youre ready to lead our data journey. You are willing to travel within region and internationally to meet with your partners and stakeholders up to 10% of your time.
