What we are looking for:
Metros Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a dedicated per diem SLP to pick up home care cases in and around the Hollis Queens area. Come be a part of a growing organization on a progressive supportive and innovative team!
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule: Flexible
Setting: Homecare
Location: Queens including Hollis
Pay rate: $60-$80/hour (depending on experience)
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Evaluates a patients need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members Home Health Aides and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
- Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications
