Location: Bend
Compensation: $27.21/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish)
Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week)

NeighborImpact Weatherization Program Overview
The NeighborImpact Weatherization Program delivers energy-saving repairs improvements and items to clients in Crook Deschutes Hood River Jefferson Sherman and Wasco Counties as well as the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Typically the program serves 100 low-income households each year. Additionally the program offers Energy Education workshops that are open to the entire community.
Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
This is an entry level position and NeighborImpact will provide on the job training related to the technical aspects of this position.
The Home Energy Technician will complete comprehensive home energy audits and eligible final inspections to clients in the service areas. Tasks include evaluating homes for energy usage and possible improvements data entry and compilation creating work orders using an energy modeling computer application and completing final inspections upon job completion. This role will work as part of a team whose goal is to create more energy efficient and safe homes for income eligible residents across our service area. This position has the potential to grow into a Weatherization Auditor upon successful completion of required certifications.
