Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Be engaged in general cleaning duties within our kitchens including cleaning cooking and general utensils used in a commercial kitchen.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces
- Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
- Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment
- Assisting employees who are cooking
- Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking
- Performing general pantry duties
Qualifications :
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
- The ability and flexibility to work across a seven day rotating roster including late nights weekends and public holidays.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred; as to an understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Organized and a great team player
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
